We are off to Woofstock again this year. Come and see us at our booth Saturday, October 3, 2009 from 9:30am to 3:00pm. At Sedgwick County Park.

About Woofstock

"Begun in 1997, Woofstock is an annual fundraiser benefiting the Kansas Humane Society. All proceeds raised at the Kansas Humane Society's Woofstock go directly to support KHS and the services we provide to thousands of Wichita's homeless pets.

Woofstock has a ton of ways to have a dog-gone good time. Throughout the day, dogs and their owners can participate in activities catered exclusively to them including digging, retrieving, herding, swimming and more.

Both children and dogs are invited to hang out in the Paws and Play area with activities catered for the average dog, like the Pawtrait Painting, Ball Bobbing Pond, Dig Site or Frisbee Chase and fun stuff for kids including a balloon bounce, a kids agility course.

Adults can bid on over $40,000 in items at the Silent Auction, shop at over 80 pet-friendly vendors, and more. "

The Halloween Party

Our fifth Halloween Party will be Saturday, October 17,2009. From 10:00 a.m. to 2:00p.m. There will be a costume contests for the puppies with prizes for the top three costumes. We will have musical chairs, dunking for weenies, pop the balloon and a race with prizes for the winners. We will also have special cookies and treats for the puppies. There will be snacks and cake with coffee, tea or hot apple cider for the parents. Everyone will get a Halloween sack for their puppies. Come and bring your puppies for a hooowling good time.

 The Christmas Party

Fill the halls with barks from Holly. Fa la la la la la. Tis the season to eat chili. Fa la la la la la la la. Come join us at our chili feast dear. Fa la la la la la. Eat to much and have a blast here. Saturday December 12, 2009 from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Is our fifth annual Chili feed. With chili and chicken soup for the parents. And treats and gifts for the puppies. Let them run and have fun while you eat and chat with your friends.

 Open House

Open house will be on Saturday, July 25, 2010. From 10:00am to 2:00pm. Come and see where your puppies play. Let them introduce you to their friends and meet the other parents. There will be snack and drinks for the parents, and treats for the puppies.

 Holiday Daycare

For the up coming holidays Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas we will be open regular hours. We will be taking dogs for daycare during these hours. So if you do not want to board but don't want your dog in the middle of everything on the holidays bring it in to daycare and pick it up when the festivities are done. No need for appointments for holiday daycare.

 Extended Weekend Daycare

Leave your dogs with us while you do your holiday shopping. Starting November 1, 2009 we will have extended hours on the weekend . We will be open Saturdays 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Sundays 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Our extended hours will end December 26, 2009.
